Urbino is a contemporary, industrial-inspired finish within the PG Bison MelaWood SupaTexture collection. It is designed to mimic the appearance of weathered concrete and cement, capturing the “Urban Industrial” aesthetic that is popular in modern lofts and minimalist homes.

Aesthetic and Texture

Urbino is a mid-grey finish with subtle “cloudy” movements and tonal shifts. It offers a softer, lighter alternative to the darker industrial finishes like Urban Steel or Foundry.

• SupaTexture Finish: This is the standout feature of Urbino. It features a deep, tactile embossing that gives the board a stone-like feel. The surface isn’t smooth; it has physical “pits” and graininess that scatter light, preventing it from looking like a flat, printed image.

• The Look: It provides a raw, architectural feel. The color palette is a neutral cool-grey, making it look like cast concrete that has been smoothed but still retains its natural character.

Urbino is a “texture-first” finish, used to add a sense of weight and permanence to a design:

• Monolithic Islands: Using Urbino for the entire exterior of a kitchen island creates the illusion of a solid concrete block.

• Wall Cladding & TV Units: Its neutral tone makes it an excellent backdrop for living room furniture, as it adds texture without clashing with colorful decor.
